There are too many ways to choose from to get to this part of Spain. You could take the car from England on a ferry down to Santander and then drive across Spain, you could take a car ferry to any French port, and drive through France to Spain. You can even take the train from London and travel down. But the most popular is probably going on the aeroplane to the local airport of Almeria and then renting a car. If you book to fly tomorrow you shouldn't pay more than £150 return, if you book today to fly next month you should at least halve that! Renting a car is so cheap down here, it is really worth while.
